I agree, that finish came out nice.I like the finish the GF gives the print, so I'll probably just leave this "in the white" so to speak.

Thank youIn the name of science I can report that the Maverick NZ6P-7P155-AD, Escape PZ1P-7P155-HC and E-Transit NK4Z-7P155-D shifters work (for me, no guarantees or responsibility how it works for you) and appears to retain all functionality including Auto Hold.
The Escape dial has ambient light in the base of the dial, Maverick and E-Transit does not, neither of them have a mechanical / motorized return, it's just the LED indicator emulating that it's moving back.
I also have an XLT with the smaller screen, see post 361 of this same thread where I added a few notes and pics from my install. It may have been cleaner to "pull some dash trim and unscrew the bottom controls to pull the center trim" but I ended up using a big screwdriver to pry things apart in order to get the tabs out of the center dash area then cut the tabs off (pic in post 361) before putting things back together as the side pieces and top frame appear to hold things in place just fine.First post here new member
Order my rotary knob from ford and the mount from Etsy which may be a bit but from what I see for my XLT it looks like I have to pull some dash trim and unscrew the bottom controls to pull the center trim does that sound about right? Also has anyone painted the 3d part to give it a nicer finish or better heat resistance? Also what size screws are we using to attach the dial to the 3d part? Thanks
BLUF: It's possible but requires making a wire harness jumper in order to reach.I was thinking if I went ahead with the conversion I'd like to put the rotary shifter in place of a trailer brake controller (which my truck does not have) - anyone have any thoughts on that end?
Thanks for the reply. I saw a video from a regular f150 same year looks like mine and I have the proper trim tools so doesn’t look to bad just that ling trim piece is only part to really be careful with as it’s actually a $400 dollar piece on Ford partsI also have an XLT with the smaller screen, see post 361 of this same thread where I added a few notes and pics from my install. I believe the ford PN is listed on the other side (or underside, I can't remember exactly).Question for anyone with the Ford Escape shifter. I bought LX6Z-7P155-U from this eBay site which I know some others have bought from. But the actual part number printed on the part was PZ1P-7P155-AC
Has anyone else who bought from that site get one with the same part number? I'm trying to figure out if I need to return it or not.
Great! Thanks so much.I believe the ford PN is listed on the other side (or underside, I can't remember exactly).
In any case, the escape shifter i purchased had that same number on the right side (you can see it in the attached image)

I'm not giving up the rotary shifter, have seen several posts here and on reddit from owners who have reported issues with second or even third shifters, and remember there was a QA hold on that part for a few weeks wasn't there? No thanks, my rotary shifter is working fine so not inviting trouble by going back to the OEM.Looks Ford is working to prevent future Issues:

But are our 22's & 23's susceptible as the 24's & 25's called out in this CSP?This is definitely making me want to make the switch now….
