I'd check your 12v battery voltage and make sure the terminal clamps are tight. Low 12V battery voltages cause all sorts of weird behaviors.

Mine is doing the same, only itā€™s stuck at 56% even if I turn it off and back on. Picked up on 12/23. Iā€™m thinking it needs a service visit, because the blue cruise isnā€™t working and says itā€™s expired before the blend date (under settings->general->about) and the software says no updates are needed.
Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? Iā€™d like to look into this concern on my end.

This happened to me after a 20 minute or so L2 charge on a chargepoint (same reduction down to 56%). Went away later that day.

Otherwise yes I am seeing the normal 5-10% reduction in power as the battery SOC drops and/or really cold temps.

Yeah - my power issue persisted for a few days. 2 days ago, I drove to top off at a fast charger then to go to 2 stores. On the way to the charger and the first store: 56%. On the way to the second store it dropped to 51% (the first change I'd seen in days). Then when I started it up to head home, it was back to 100% and stayed there. The weather was 60's the entire time.

Now I'm wondering if charging causes reduced power for a (fairly long) while? I've been keeping it on my mobile charger any time it's parked at home, and it's always charging due to slow charge speed.

Just as an update - My power reduction went away after 3-4 days, and it's been at 100% since. My BlueCruise maps also updated over the weekend. I cancelled a service appointment I had today to look at these issues. Love the performance now and bluecruise is awesome.

I got reduced power again today. 56% was fast charging from 50 % to about 90% then drove home about 5 minutes. Right when I got home I cycled the start button and it went back to 100%.

Seems like this is non typical but normal operation. I'm guessing it has something to do with charging and protecting the cells.

I checked again and only the rear motor was operating.

I just had the exact same scenario today. I parked overnight in the garage charged it up from 60-80%. I set it to charge 2 hours after plugging in for battery cooling. The truck reached charge level at 11pm, but remained plugged in for another 12 hours overnight. I preconditioned the truck for 11am. Hop in nice and toasty, back out and notice the 64% power level. Also the front motor drive isnā€™t engaging on the screen. Normally you see both front and rear working in tandem. Drove around leisurely for 25 minutes in 55* weather and parked at the store. Getting back in the Truck 30 mins later, all back to normal. I truly hope this was a software glitch. I just updated to 4.1.1 the other day. Battery temps looked right in the normal range like they always do. Back at home I checked the 12v battery connections for the first time and they are nice and tight. Not sure what else to look for?

It appears a common link is charging. What is weird is in my case it was plugged in , but had been to my charge level for hours before I attempted to drive.

Im puzzled? Hope this isnā€™t a start to something ā€¦

Mine had this issue on Feb 22nd. No alert just noticed the 64% power. Checked the motor screens and the front was not providing power or providing regen.

I did charge just prior on L2 (48A) from 74 -> 83.

I wonder if the high voltage contactors are intermittent?

Almost feels like it. Also intresting to note ER are noticing 56% power and SR are noticing 64% power without the front motor wonder if anyone has thoughts on why.

I had this issue too. It popped up right after I charged at a L2 charger.

I had this happen to me yesterday - had the truck for around 1 week / 200 miles

DC fast charged 46-86% while at a quick lunch (wow it is fast!)
Stopped charge, unplugged, and headed home. 56% power was the max on the drive home

Back to normal when I left the house for dinner

My truck reduced power to 56% on one trip. I shut down and restarted and it went back to 100%.

One interesting thing I noticed. I had a hunch to check the energy usage display and it showed that the front axle motor was not moving the truck nor was it recharging the battery, also the front axle seems to contribute 44% of the total drive power.

I had come home to work on the yard and left after charging for 2 or so hours during the day with 32amp mobile charger.
I'm in San Diego so the cold had nothing to do with it.
Has this happened to anyone else?

same thing happened to me today. I had just used a free L2 chargepoint for 2 hours. Down to 64% available power. no power to front motor. Drove for about 20 miles on the highway. Efficiency was way down during those 20 miles. Stopped at Loweā€™s and was fine when I restarted.

have the same issue this morning. ER Lariat, was plugged in last night on mobile charger (nema 14-50) and charged from about 65%-90%, preconditioned at 7am, left at 720am. Truck was at 56% power the whole time. i shut down and restarted a few times. On restart it would show 100% but as soon as i moved it went to 56%. Ill try it again this afternoon and see if it goes back to normal. fingers crossed....
